Moment of truth.

How many times in a day do you find yourself in a position to either lie, or tell the truth? If you are a living person, the opportunities are endless.(no offense to all my undead readers). Wether the situation is simple or complex, the odds of a truthful answer are about 50/50. "I woke up so early, it was like 5:30 am". Dude probably woke up at 6, but who cares. Small lies can be justifiable in some cases, and mostly ignored. It's the larger ones that are getting under everyone's skin. Not that anyone is surprised by the constant falsifications. The funny thing about a lie is that you rarely come out of them unscathed. Somehow, some way, you get caught. When realized, you end up in a worse jam then if the truth was told in the first place. So why do it? Personal insecurity, infidelity, comedy, ect. (Fibbing for the sake of comedy is always acceptable to me, some things are just funnier when the truth is stretched). It has always been said that omitting the truth is still a lie, which is correct. Sometimes withholding can be equal to lying, if not worse. I have been caught in many pickles in my day. Normally you just keep lying until the conversation ends, and hope that's the end of it. In reality though, people don't forget. Soon your name will become synonymous with distrust, and dishonesty. After this point it is hard to change people's view of you. You didn't ask for my advice but hey, I'm gonna give it to you anyway. If you need to lie, just make sure you are prepared for the consequences. Be selective in your process. Don't waste a good one on getting $2 off a meal at Chilis. Save that one for the opportunity to get on fear factor and win millions(so what your not 6'6" and athletic, they already said yes). This gem of a blog has had no point, or made much sense, but hey, we made it through. Congratulations, and thanks for reading.
